Description
Epipremnum ‘Poonsin Manjula’ is a rare variegated pothos-type plant known for its soft, marbled foliage and unique leaf shape. Its leaves can show a mix of green, cream, white, mint, and pale yellow tones, with each leaf developing its own individual pattern. Its trailing or climbing growth habit makes it a great choice for hanging baskets, shelves, moss poles, trellises, and rare plant collections.
Light Requirements
For best growth and variegation, place Epipremnum ‘Poonsin Manjula’ in bright, indirect light. Brighter indirect light will help maintain stronger variegation and fuller growth. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the lighter areas of the leaves.
Watering
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Use a chunky, well-draining potting mix and a pot with drainage to help prevent root issues. Epipremnum prefer lightly moist soil, but they should not sit in standing water.
Temperature & Humidity
This plant prefers warm indoor temperatures and average to higher humidity. Keep it away from cold drafts, air vents, and temperatures below 60°F. Providing a moss pole or trellis can help encourage larger leaves and stronger climbing growth.
Pet Safety
Epipremnum ‘Poonsin Manjula’ is not considered pet-safe and can be toxic if ingested by cats or dogs. It is best to keep it out of reach of pets that may chew on plants.
Best For
Epipremnum ‘Poonsin Manjula’ is best suited for plant owners who want a rare, colorful trailing or climbing plant with soft marbled variegation and manageable care needs.
