Sansevieria ‘Lavranos’ is a rare, compact Snake Plant variety known for its sturdy, sculptural leaves and unique growth pattern. Its short green leaves have a pronounced V-shape and grow in a tight, alternating form, creating a bold, modern look. Its smaller size makes it a great choice for desks, shelves, plant stands, offices, and small indoor spaces.
For best growth, place Sansevieria ‘Lavranos’ in bright, indirect light. It can also tolerate medium to low light, making it a flexible option for many indoor spaces. Avoid long periods of harsh direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Sansevieria store water in their thick leaves and prefer to stay on the dry side. Use a gritty, well-draining cactus or succulent mix and a pot with drainage to help prevent root rot.
This plant does well in average household humidity and prefers warm indoor temperatures. Keep it away from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.
Sansevieria ‘Lavranos’ is not considered pet-safe and can be toxic if ingested by cats or dogs. It is best to keep it out of reach of pets that may chew on plants.
Sansevieria ‘Lavranos’ is a great choice for plant owners who want a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plant with a compact architectural shape.
