Variegated Hoya Rope, also known as Hoya compacta ‘Variegata’, is a unique trailing houseplant known for its thick, curled leaves with creamy white to yellow variegation. The twisted foliage grows tightly along cascading vines, giving the plant a sculptural, textured look. Its trailing habit makes it a beautiful choice for hanging baskets, shelves, plant stands, and bright indoor spaces. Mature plants may also produce clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers.
For best growth and color, place Variegated Hoya Rope in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter indirect light will help support stronger variegation, fuller growth, and blooming. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the lighter areas of the leaves.
