Hoya kerrii ‘Splash’ is a charming trailing Hoya known for its thick, heart-shaped leaves with silver splash variegation. Each leaf has its own unique pattern, giving the plant a soft, textured look while still keeping the classic heart-shaped foliage Hoya kerrii is loved for. As it matures, it can develop long vines and may produce clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers.
For best growth and stronger splash patterning, place Hoya kerrii ‘Splash’ in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter indirect light will support healthier growth and better foliage color. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Hoya store moisture in their thick leaves and prefer to stay on the drier side. Use a chunky, well-draining potting mix and a pot with drainage to help prevent root rot.
This plant prefers warm indoor temperatures and moderate to higher humidity. Keep it away from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F. Average household humidity is usually fine, though higher humidity can encourage stronger growth.
Hoya kerrii ‘Splash’ is a great choice for plant owners who want an easy-care Hoya with unique heart-shaped foliage and subtle silver variegation.
