Scindapsus ‘Moonlight’ is a beautiful trailing houseplant known for its soft, silvery-green foliage and smooth, satin-like finish. Its heart-shaped leaves have a muted glow that gives the plant a clean, elegant look. Its trailing growth habit makes it a great choice for hanging baskets, shelves, plant stands, or training up a moss pole.
For best color and growth, place Scindapsus ‘Moonlight’ in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter indirect light will help support fuller growth and stronger silver coloring. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Use a chunky, well-draining potting mix and a pot with drainage to help prevent root issues. Scindapsus prefer lightly moist soil, but they should not sit in standing water.
This plant prefers warm indoor temperatures and average to higher humidity. Keep it away from cold drafts, air vents, and temperatures below 60°F. Trimming the vines can help encourage a fuller, bushier shape.
Scindapsus ‘Moonlight’ is a great choice for plant owners who want an easy-care trailing plant with soft silver foliage and a polished tropical look.
