Epipremnum Golden Flame
Epipremnum Golden Flame is a rare tropical climbing plant known for its bright green leaves with golden-yellow variegation. Its bold color and vining growth habit make it a great choice for moss poles, trellises, shelves, hanging baskets, and bright indoor spaces.
The proper name is commonly listed as Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Golden Flame’. Naming may vary slightly by grower.
Care
Epipremnum Golden Flame does best in bright, indirect light. Brighter filtered light helps support stronger growth and better golden variegation. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the leaves, especially the lighter variegated sections.
Water thoroughly when the top inch or two of soil feels dry and allow water to drain. Epipremnum prefer lightly moist soil, but they do not like sitting in wet soil, so avoid watering too frequently.
Use a well-draining, chunky potting mix and a pot with drainage. A mix with houseplant soil, orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir works well.
Epipremnum Golden Flame prefers warm temperatures and moderate to high humidity. Higher humidity can help support fuller growth and larger leaves. Keep it away from cold drafts, heating vents, and air conditioning.
This plant likes to climb as it matures. A moss pole, plank, or trellis can help encourage larger leaves and a stronger upright growth habit.
