Manjula Pothos is a beautiful trailing houseplant known for its heart-shaped leaves with creamy white, green, and silver variegation. Each leaf has a slightly different pattern, giving the plant a soft, full look as it trails from shelves, hanging baskets, or plant stands.
The proper botanical name is commonly listed as Epipremnum aureum ‘Manjula’.
Manjula Pothos does best in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter filtered light helps maintain stronger variegation. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the lighter parts of the leaves.
Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. This plant does not like sitting in wet soil, so avoid watering too frequently.
Use a well-draining potting mix and a pot with drainage. A standard houseplant mix with added perlite or orchid bark works well.
Manjula Pothos does well in average indoor temperatures and normal household humidity. Higher humidity can encourage fuller growth, but it is not required.
Trim the vines as needed to keep the plant full and encourage branching. Cuttings can also be propagated easily in water or soil.
Pothos plants are toxic to pets if ingested. Keep them away from cats, dogs, and small children.
