Abdita is a fast grower native to Central and South America with long, soft rectangular leaves. It ranges in size from 2-3” on the small end to upwards of 7”. Ordinarily a bright green color, Abdita naturally turns a fiery red during inflorescence, which can last from 1 to potentially several months. When blooming, the flowers have violet petals with red/pink bract. Abdita prefers a high amount of indirect light and has an average watering schedule.
